It was probably one of the hottest days of the year, with the mercury hitting a Seattle sweltering 92°F. I know that may seem like peanuts to many of you outside the Pacific Northwest, but trust me, it’s HOT for most Seattleites who don’t have air conditioners. Getting bridal party portraits done outside was a chore as it was so bright and nearly impossible to find shade for that large of a bridal party in the middle of the day at Gasworks Park. We made it work, but everyone was eager to get back to their air conditioned cars and get to the ceremony location in Queen Anne. Fortunately there was a little more shade to be found surrounding the church where we could get more photos done before and after the ceremony.

The reception took place at the now closed Harbor Club on the 17th floor of the Norton Building in downtown Seattle. The views of Elliott bay were spectacular, complete with Mount Rainier in all its majesty to the southeast. The food was spectacular and the DJ had everyone on the dance floor.

Once night came, we wanted to walk down to the pier to get a night shot with the Great Wheel lit up in the background, but the walk was long so we found a couple other spots that turned out absolutely epic.
